The Legacy of Resilience Peer Initiative (LRPI) is a trauma-informed peer support program designed to serve underserved children, families, and individuals across North Carolina who are impacted by poverty, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), system involvement, and social inequities.

The program aims to extend our partnership with local schools, Pitt Community College, Departments of Social Services (DSS), behavioral health providers, juvenile justice stakeholders, and other community-based organizations to create sustainable pathways of support.
To help people with disabilities, mental health and/or substance use challenges, their families, and our employees embrace their potential, access opportunities, build resilience and thrive
Helps veterans and their dependents apply for and coordinate benefits they are eligible to receive. These benefits include burial assistance, compensation, education, home improvements and loans, life and health insurance, medical benefits, pensions, rehabilitation, and more
We believe that every family should have access to food. Nutrition is key to becoming more productive through out the day and supports environments for healthy learners. Click the link below for a list of food resources in your area
Provides services to victims of domestic abuse. Their mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence while enhancing individual self-sufficiency and promoting healthy family relationships. Audrey Moye Mewborn is the founder of TRENDUP Foundation Inc, bringing decades of experience in early education, family services, parent education, and community leadership. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and an M.S. in Early Childhood Studies. She has certifications in family development and peer support. Audrey has served as a Pre-K Teacher, Family Advocate, Parent Educator, and Family Services Coordinator with the Head Start program, where she supported families through education, resources, and goal setting. She currently serves as Vice Chairman on the Board of Commissioners of the Ayden Housing Authority. Her passion for strengthening families and expanding opportunities in Ayden and Pitt County shapes the organization’s mission and vision.
